Lithium battery repair method one: freezing (user experience)

A few days ago, one of my lithium batteries couldn't be used anymore. The symptoms were that it couldn't be charged, and I couldn't turn on the camera when it was installed (the camera showed low battery). I tried several times and it still didn't work. There's no choice but to abandon one side, it's almost thrown into the trash can. Later on, I didn't know what the idea was. I sealed the battery with multiple layers of absorbent paper and plastic film and put it in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator (minus 18 degrees Celsius) for two days and two nights. After taking it out, I put the packaging inside the room at room temperature for two days. I was unwilling to put it back into the camera and tried again. Hey, surprisingly, it completely returned to normal! I would like to inform everyone that if there are similar situations, why not give them a try!

Lithium battery repair method 2: discharge

The method of starting up and discharging or connecting a resistor can be adopted. The discharge during startup should be at the level where the phone stops immediately after startup; Resistance discharge can be achieved by connecting small electric beads of the corresponding voltage for a long time until the small electric beads are connected and immediately extinguished. A high current is preferred for discharge current.

Lithium battery repair method three: activation

Connect 12V AC power in series, and also connect a small electric bead or resistor between the batteries for current limiting. Firstly, use low current activation to maintain the AC current in the control circuit at tens of milliamps for 30 to 60 minutes, and then increase the current to 1-2 times the nominal value of the battery. For example, adding a 1000mAh battery to 1000-2000mAh will activate for 30-60 minutes. During the above process, attention should be paid to observing the temperature and appearance of the battery: there should be no abnormal phenomena such as overheating, smoking, or bulging. If the temperature is too high (above 40 ℃), the current should be appropriately reduced. Lithium batteries that have undergone the above activation process can generally be used normally, but cannot be compared to new batteries!
