Mr. Ma hopes that the Porsche After Sales Center can explain the current issue with high-voltage batteries in vehicles and apply for a reduction in repair costs from the manufacturer.

In fact, Mr. Ma's troubles stem from the cleverness of the timing when the vehicle malfunctioned. It is reported that the high-voltage battery warranty range of Porsche Cayenne New Energy vehicles is 6 years/120000 kilometers. His car had just driven 121080 kilometers out of warranty, and there was a quality issue of not being able to drive normally.

The Porsche After Sales Center has issued a self funded repair order for 169000 yuan, which involves replacing 8 sets of battery modules, with a unit price of around 12000 yuan for each set of battery modules. In addition, the cost of 169000 yuan also includes an air conditioning compressor worth over 30000 yuan.

Mr. Ma felt helpless when faced with the high maintenance costs, saying that there were no issues with the battery three or five times before the warranty was released. After all, the repair cost of over 160000 yuan has exceeded 25% of the second-hand residual value of the Cayenne plug-in hybrid of the same model year. The repair value is low, but not repairing is not a solution.

What made Mr. Ma even more confused was that when he inquired with Porsche centers in other regions, he learned that the price of directly replacing the same Porsche Cayenne plug-in hybrid with a new high-voltage battery module was only 80000 yuan. Meanwhile, with the further understanding of the Porsche vehicle maintenance policy, Mr. Ma also learned about a policy called "Goodwill Maintenance", which has become another hope for him to solve the problem.

According to Mr. Ma, the so-called Porsche "goodwill maintenance" policy is that when a vehicle has just expired and encounters quality problems, the manufacturer can provide a certain proportion of compensation to the owner. However, whether it is the 80000 yuan battery module replacement quotation or "good faith maintenance", the Shaoxing Porsche Center stated that Mr. Ma's situation is not applicable.

Recently, the media inquired with the person in charge of the Porsche Center, who stated that Porsche's nationwide parts repairs are at a unified price. If the car owner requests specific documents, as for "goodwill maintenance", the focus of this policy is "goodwill". Whether a certain compensation ratio can be given to the car owner after the warranty is issued will be evaluated by Porsche.
