After the introduction of AC charging, we will continue to introduce the DC charging interface today. Compared with AC charging, DC charging is more pure. There is only one charging mode and one connection mode without so many categories.
The definition of vehicle DC charging interface is shown in the figure below (socket end). It has a total of 9 PINs, of which CC1 and CC2 are charging connection confirmation pins; A+and A - are low-voltage 12V auxiliary power supplies, which are rarely used for power supply in vehicles, but may be used for wake-up; In the process of plug and socket plugging, CC2 and PE are connected first, followed by DC power supply plus and minus, then low-voltage auxiliary power supply plus and minus, and finally CAN communication and CC1;
Next, take a look at the circuit after connecting the off-board charger, vehicle interface and vehicle; As shown in the following figure, after the DC charging gun is connected, the CC1 signal is not connected to the vehicle interior; The whole control pilot circuit consists of five resistors R1R2R3R4R5, one switch S, and two detection points 1 and 2.
R1: arranged inside the charging pile, with a nominal value of 1K;
R2R3: arranged inside the charging gun, with the nominal value of 1K;
R4: arranged at the vehicle socket, with a nominal value of 1K;
R5: It is arranged inside the vehicle controller, usually on the BMS, with a nominal value of 1K;
Switch S: arranged inside the charging gun and linked with the mechanical lock, which is closed by default;
U1U2: 12V voltage source;
Detection point 1 is detected from the inside of the charging pile. It has three levels of 12V V V, and 4V represents the connection between the charging gun and the vehicle;
Detection point 2 is detected by BMS. It has two states of 12V, and 6V means the vehicle is connected to the charging gun;
It can be seen that the guiding circuit of DC charging is much simpler than that of AC charging.
The above figure is the sequence diagram of DC charging connection control. Like AC charging, it needs to go through the process of connection confirmation; It has an additional part of charging pile self-inspection than AC charging, during which insulation detection will be carried out; The specific process is that when the charging pile confirms that the charging gun is connected (the detection point 1 is 4V), K1 and K2 will be closed for insulation detection. After the detection is qualified, the residual voltage of the bus will be discharged, and finally K1 and K2 will be reopened; After the vehicle terminal completes the connection confirmation (the detection point 2 is 6V), the two communicate via CAN to carry out charging handshake; Then K5 and K6 are closed, and the charging pile detects the battery voltage. After the detection is qualified, K1 and K2 are closed, and the charging is started.
Similarly, in addition to mechanical locks, there are also electronic locks; However, this electronic lock is arranged on the charging gun, rather than in the charging socket of the vehicle like AC charging. It is controlled and detected by the charging pile.
