Both lithium battery packs and nickel batteries have strict requirements for the temperature and humidity of the storage environment. The electrochemical reactions inside the lithium battery packs are related to the environmental temperature. If the temperature is too low, the battery will have no voltage output; if the temperature is too high, the self-discharge speed of the battery will accelerate.

Short-term Storage: Store the lithium battery packs in a place that is dry, free of corrosive gases, and with the temperature and humidity ranging from -20°C to 35°C. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will cause the metal parts of the battery to rust or the battery to leak.

Long-term Storage:

1. When lithium batteries are not going to be used for a long time, they should be charged to 50% to 80% of their capacity and placed in a dry and cool environment. Recharge the batteries once every three months to prevent the battery from having too low a charge due to self-discharge during long storage periods, which may cause irreversible capacity loss.

2. The self-discharge of lithium batteries is affected by the environmental temperature and humidity. High temperature and high humidity will accelerate the self-discharge of the batteries. It is recommended to store the batteries in a dry environment with the temperature ranging from 0°C to 20°C.
