According to the news released by "Suzhou Wujiang Release", on November 2nd, the foundation laying ceremony for the first phase of the R & D and manufacturing project of the headquarters of the electric drive system for commercial vehicles of Lvkong New Energy was held.

It is reported that the R & D and manufacturing project of the headquarters of the electric drive system for commercial vehicles of Lvkong New Energy has a planned total investment of 5 billion yuan, mainly producing products of the electric drive system for new energy commercial vehicles and so on. The first-phase project, for which the foundation was laid on this occasion, has an investment of 716 million yuan. It mainly aims to build an intelligent and green factory covering the whole process from blank processing to assembly of the electric drive axle system products for new energy commercial vehicles. The newly added construction area will be 37,630 square meters, including a newly-built 9-story R & D center and a 4-story factory building. After the project reaches its designed production capacity, it is expected to achieve an additional sales volume of 3 billion yuan.

Founded in 2011, the company is mainly engaged in the R & D, production and sales of automotive AMT automatic transmissions, drive motors for new energy vehicles, and power assemblies for pure electric and hybrid vehicles.
