Correct charging method for lead-acid batteries
The most taboo thing about lead-acid batteries is to discharge them completely before recharging. This will greatly reduce the battery life. Do not discharge deeply multiple times. Deep discharge refers to the situation where the electric vehicle loses power due to undervoltage. After the undervoltage is cut off, do not continue to charge and drive. Intermittent discharge of electric vehicle batteries is the most harmful to the battery.
1. When the lead-acid battery is in float charging operation, the voltage of each individual battery should not be lower than 2.20V. If the voltage of each individual battery is lower than 2.20V, balanced charging is required. The method of balanced charging is: charging voltage of 2.35V per unit, charging time of 12 hours.

Precautions for charging lead-acid batteries

Never over discharge or over charge. Overcharging is a process in the chemical workshop that can cause the metal layer of the grid to become thinner, making it easier to break the grid. Over discharge can lead to plate vulcanization, active sponge tissue failure, and shortened plate life;
During the charging process of the battery, the temperature of the battery should be checked at all times to avoid overheating;
The charger should be avoided from direct sunlight or outdoor rain, and should not be used in environments with large dust or corrosive gases.
