1. Poor battery quality

2) The active substance on the electrode plate expands and falls off. Due to the excessive deposition of the fallen active substance, the lower edge or side edge of the positive and negative electrode plates come into contact with the sediment, causing the positive and negative electrode plates to be connected;
3) The "lead current" formed during welding of the electrode group is not completely removed, or there are "lead beans" present between the positive and negative electrode plates during assembly, which damage the separator during charging and discharging, causing the positive and negative electrode plates to connect.
2. Abuse of chargers
Due to the different positive and negative poles of the charging ports between different chargers, there may be reverse connections. Firstly, it will quickly damage your battery. Secondly, due to the incorrect operation of the charger, it is easy to cause short circuits and combustion. Therefore, when charging, it is recommended to use the original or uniform model charger.
3. Overcharging
When lead-acid batteries are overcharged, they will electrolyze the water in the battery electrolyte. After electrolysis, hydrogen and oxygen will be produced, which are flammable and explosive gases. When the hydrogen content in the battery or air accumulates to the explosive limit, external exposure to open flames may cause combustion or explosion.
