1. If the rated energy Wh (watt hours) is not directly marked on the lithium battery, the rated energy of the lithium battery can be converted according to the following method:

1) If the nominal voltage (V) and nominal capacity (Ah) of the battery are known, the value for rated watt hours can be calculated: Wh=VxAh, and the nominal voltage and nominal capacity are usually marked on the battery.

2) If only milliampere hours (mAh) are marked on the battery, this value can be divided by 1000 to obtain ampere hours (Ah).

For example, a lithium battery with a nominal voltage of 3.7V and a nominal capacity of 760mAh has a rated wattage of 760mAh/1000=0.76Ah; 3.7Vx0.76Ah=2.9Wh

2. Protective measures for backup lithium batteries: Backup batteries must be individually protected to prevent short circuits (by placing them in their original retail packaging or insulating the electrodes in other ways, such as applying tape to exposed electrodes, or placing each battery in a separate plastic bag or protective box).

3. Portable lithium batteries can be used as hand luggage to carry personal portable electronic devices such as laptops, mobile phones, cameras, watches, etc. containing no more than 100Wh (watt hour) lithium batteries, as well as backup batteries for boarding.

Generally speaking, the rated energy of lithium-ion batteries in mobile phones is usually between 3-10Wh; The energy of lithium batteries in DSLR cameras is mostly between 10-20Wh; The lithium battery energy of portable cameras is mostly between 20-40Wh; The lithium battery energy of laptops ranges from 30-100Wh. Therefore, lithium batteries in electronic devices such as mobile phones, commonly used portable cameras, DSLR cameras, and the vast majority of laptops typically do not exceed the limit of 100Wh.

4. Restricted lithium batteries can be carried on board electronic devices containing lithium batteries exceeding 100Wh but not exceeding 160Wh with the approval of a special company. Each passenger cannot carry more than two such backup batteries and cannot be checked in.

Devices that may contain more than 100Wh lithium batteries, such as news media equipment, film and television production equipment, performance props, medical equipment, electric toys, electric tools, toolboxes, etc.

5. Prohibited lithium batteries: It is prohibited to carry or transport large lithium batteries or electronic devices exceeding 160Wh.

6. During the flight, please turn off the power of the lithium battery device you are carrying to prevent accidental startup.
