This means that when you choose the same voltage charger to power the lithium-ion battery, the voltage will be slightly higher. Due to the large internal resistance of lead-acid, constant current charging increases the constant voltage voltage during constant current charging to achieve efficiency, which is very unfavorable for lithium-ion batteries.
The internal resistance of lithium-ion batteries is small. For example, 13 series lithium-ion batteries are 48 volts, and the cutoff voltage should be controlled at 54.6 volts, while the constant current cutoff voltage of lead-acid batteries is 57.9 volts, several volts higher. Of course, if the UPS lead-acid battery is improved, it can be used to charge lithium-ion batteries, such as removing the low constant voltage stage circuit and pulse circuit.
The charging control method of lead-acid batteries is completely different from that of lithium-ion batteries, and the voltage may also vary greatly. Do not use them incorrectly. The individual voltage of lead-acid UPS batteries is 2V, and a suitable charger should be selected based on the voltage.
The individual voltage of a lithium-ion battery is 3.63.7V. The charging control is to first charge according to a constant current, and then when the battery voltage rises to 4.2V, the voltage no longer rises.
