In the middle of each month, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology releases a batch of "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products", which has become an industry practice. In each batch of announcements released in 2018, there are usually over a hundred new energy vehicle models, and as a new thing, there are also several to more than ten fuel cell vehicles.

Unexpectedly, there were no fuel cell models in the 316 batch of announcements released in the first month of 2019.

On January 18th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's data resource database updated the 316th batch of new product announcements for "Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement". Among them, there were 145 models applying for new energy vehicle products, including 114 pure electric products, 8 plug-in hybrid products, 23 new energy vehicle chassis models, and zero fuel cell models.

In the six batches of announcements issued since the second half of 2018, including 310 batches, 311 batches, 312 batches, 313 batches, 314 batches, and 315 batches, although the proportion of fuel cell vehicle models to the overall proportion of new energy vehicles is very low, there has never been a situation of zero vehicle models.
