As one of the most popular models under GAC Aian, AIONS has achieved a good performance of 100000 complete vehicles offline in just two years since its launch, setting a record for the fastest sales of models of the same class.

On July 17th, at the 2021 Guangdong Hong Kong Macau Auto Show, GAC Aian introduced the new model AIONSPlus, which is based on the ENO.146 concept car and has a minimum wind resistance coefficient of 0.211 cd at the same level.

Currently, the new car has been launched, with a total of 5 models, with a guidance price of 1396-172600 yuan after subsidies.

Compared to the existing AIONS models, the new car can be said to have a significant upgrade, with the biggest change being the front face. The original closed grille has been replaced with a larger air intake design and supports an adaptive intake management system.

As a result of this change, the wind resistance coefficient for new vehicles is only 0.211Cd, which is the lowest wind resistance coefficient for vehicles of the same class in the world.

In terms of interior upholstery, the new car does not continue the dual screen design, but instead uses a combination of a large LCD instrument panel and a large suspended central control LCD screen. Moreover, the vehicle engine system integrated with the 14.6-inch central control screen also adopts a new UI design, making it easier to operate.

It is worth mentioning that Aeon AION Plus will also be equipped with a 1.9 square meter panoramic sky curtain, which inherits the third generation of flexible electrochromic technology and can insulate 99.9% of ultraviolet rays.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor (TZ180XYA1203) produced by Japanese Nissan Automobile Motor (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 150 kW and a 100 km acceleration of only 6.8 seconds.

The matching "cartridge battery" independently developed by GAC Aian has passed extremely rigorous acupuncture experiments, and for the first time in the industry, it has achieved a complete package of ternary lithium batteries without ignition. According to different configurations, three types of models with a range of 410km, 510km, and 602km are available.
