1、 Multimeter test the battery of electric vehicle
The most accurate way to test the capacity of a professional battery is to use a discharge instrument to test the full capacity of the battery. C=W=IUt, that is, the electrical capacity is the discharge current amperes (A) X voltage volts (V) X time seconds or hours (S or H). Generally, the rated capacity is 0.5 to 2 times of the rated capacity to discharge the battery. For example, the 12AH battery is fully charged and discharged for two hours under the rated voltage current. The current size is inversely proportional to the discharge time and discharge capacity, The larger the discharge current is, such as 2 times, the discharge time is more than one hour, and the discharge capacity is more than 8AH. On the contrary, 0.5 times can discharge more than two hours and can discharge more than 15AH.
2、 Professional test essentials of lithium ion battery pack for electric vehicles
1. After the battery is fully charged, connect the battery, ammeter and resistance wire.
2. Open circuit inside the battery. Some electric vehicle lithium-ion battery packs have internal open circuit, which means that the battery has voltage and no current, the whole vehicle has power, and the motor does not run. If the whole vehicle is normal after replacing a new battery, it is a battery problem.
3. The green light of the charger does not change. The green light of the charger does not change when charging, and the green light of the charger is on when no load, then the general environment is caused by the lack of water or dilute sulfuric acid in the battery. After the upper cover of the battery is opened, unscrew the one-way valve or the safety valve, and inject an appropriate amount of special supplement into the battery, and the battery can be changed after 6-10 hours of charging.
4. The electric vehicle has a short driving range. Check whether the no-load current and running current of the whole vehicle are too large. The no-load current should not be more than 1.2 amperes. The running current should not be more than 7.5 amperes when the load is 75 kg, the speed is 20 km/h, and the flat cement or asphalt road is running. If the above environment appears, change the controller or motor to conduct the test again.
