According to the news released by "Beautiful Lianyungang", on the morning of December 14th, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province held a "1+4" billion yuan industrial project signing ceremony, including a 100000 ton/year battery grade new energy material recycling project.
It is reported that the 100000 tons/year battery grade new energy material recycling project is invested and constructed by Yantai Kaishi Industrial Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 1.18 billion yuan and covers an area of 150 acres (revitalizing zombie enterprises in the park). This project, along with the 168000 ton battery key material project and the 200000 ton/year battery recycling project in the park, are mutually upstream and downstream, forming a complete closed loop for the production, recycling, dismantling, and reuse of the new energy battery industry.
The project processes 100000 tons of retired power batteries annually, with the main production of 18301.5 tons/year of ternary black powder, 5589 tons/year of lithium iron phosphate black powder, 24000 tons/year of cascaded ternary battery cells, and 9000 tons/year of cascaded lithium iron phosphate battery cells; By products include 4645.2 tons/year of copper particles, 2499 tons/year of aluminum particles, and 3425 tons/year of steel shells (magnetic metals). After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to have an annual output value of 1.8 billion yuan and an annual tax payment of 25 million yuan.
