What does the amount of C behind the battery mean?

Represents the discharge capacity of the battery, which is the most important difference between ordinary lithium-ion batteries and power lithium-ion batteries. Power lithium-ion batteries require a large current discharge. The discharge capacity of a battery is expressed in multiples (C), which means the maximum discharge current that can be reached according to the nominal capacity of the battery.

If the standard for a 1000mAh battery is 5C, then using 5x1000mAh, it can be concluded that the battery can discharge at a current intensity of 5000mA. If a low C battery is used and discharged with high current, the battery will quickly damage and even self ignite.

A 1000mAh battery has a maximum discharge current of 1000x10=10000 milliamperes (10 amperes). In practical use, the discharge current of a battery is related to the load resistance. According to Ohm's theorem, voltage is equal to current multiplied by resistance. Therefore, when voltage and resistance are constant, the discharge current of the battery is also constant.
