This competition is led by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the competition awards are generated based on the "Charter of the 4th China Innovation Challenge and the 3rd Zhongguancun Emerging Field Special Competition" and the overall plan. According to the on-site evaluation expert scoring, actual competition results, and the intention and cooperation opinions of the demand side units, the competition is approved by the leadership of the special competition organizing committee through strict procedures. Zhou Gang, the technical leader of "Low Temperature -40 ° C Rechargeable and Dischargeable Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery", graduated from the School of Physics and Microelectronics of Hunan University and obtained a doctoral degree. He is skilled in the technical research and development of lithium-ion batteries. After graduating from Hunan University, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Powder Metallurgy Research Institute of Central South University. Dr. Zhou Gang has a profound academic background and has participated in multiple advanced scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General Project, Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, Special Supporting Cooperation Project, and the National Key Basic Research and Development Plan Sub project (973 Project).
The "Low Temperature -40 ° C Rechargeable and Dischargeable Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery" project of Juda Lithium Battery, which participated in this competition, is based on 10 patents and has created 5 core innovative technologies, forming strong support for the project. It effectively solves the problem of electrochemical batteries being unable to start equipment due to power reduction caused by polarization in low-temperature environments. It has outstanding low-temperature charging and discharging characteristics and technological advantages, and can be applied to outdoor energy reserves and equipment power supplies. The implementation of the project has special significance for improving the level of special equipment.
At present, battery products based on the "low-temperature -40 degree rechargeable and discharging lithium iron phosphate battery" solution have been mass-produced at Dongguan Juda Electronics Co., Ltd., marking the achievement of industrialization goals for this low-temperature lithium battery technology.
