For example, products used to extend the lifespan of batteries do not have excessively high pulse voltage values. Specifically, the pulse voltage value of battery repair products can be too large (if the pulse voltage value is too large, it will cause damage to the battery electrode plate). If the pulse voltage is high, the battery repair time is short, and if the pulse voltage is low, the battery repair time is relatively long. Although the pulse instantaneous voltage is high, the average voltage is not high, which is not harmful to the human body and is very safe.
There are specialized pulse generators available for sale in the market, but it is important to choose the one with the best performance. The resonance between the pulse and the battery electrode plate is very important, which depends on the size and amplitude of the pulse frequency. If the pulse frequency and amplitude are not enough, the effect of eliminating sulfuric acid crystallization cannot be achieved. If the frequency and amplitude are too large, it will eliminate sulfurization and damage the electrode plate, and gas evolution phenomenon will occur; Meanwhile, there are also many types of pulse waveforms that can be displayed on an oscilloscope.
2. Strong current repair method
The strong current repair method refers to the method of repairing a battery with a persistent high voltage or high current during charging, often used when the pulse repair method is not effective. Firstly, high voltage repair method: This method mainly adopts a charging voltage of 1.3-1.5 times the nominal voltage of the battery to repair the battery. For example, for a 36V battery, when the charging current is constant or close, a 48V charger is used for charging. The charging time should be controlled in moderation and not too long, otherwise the battery will generate heat due to gas evolution.
3. Full charge and full discharge repair method
The full charge and full discharge repair method is a method of repairing a battery by fully discharging it after it is fully charged. The full charge and full discharge repair method mainly has a certain repair effect on slightly damaged batteries, and at the same time, this method can effectively activate the active substances in the deep layer of the battery, improving the battery capacity.

This method can be used when the nominal voltage of a single battery is below 12V. For example, there are 6V4Ah batteries commonly used to charge emergency lights on the market, and the tester has a single output of 12V. In this case, two 6V batteries can be connected in series to the tester for sulfur repair.
2. Output combination method
For batteries that have been stored for a long time, or batteries with severe self discharge and vulcanization, we cannot use methods such as water replenishment and charging recovery. The output combination method is more effective for severely sulfurized batteries, and when using this method, the best charging current is 5A. Due to the superposition of repair functions, the negative pulse current is greater than the positive pulse current. Choosing 5A is to compensate for the cancellation of the resulting charging current.
3. Activation charging method
In fact, during storage or use, we can regularly activate and charge batteries, which is also known as balanced charging. This is very helpful for irreversible vulcanization of batteries, as it can extend their lifespan, which is a highly recommended practice. In general, using a tester to regularly charge, discharge, and charge the battery is sufficient.
