A lithium-ion battery with the same capacity can effectively use more energy than a lead-acid battery. Let's compare 72V lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. The working voltage of a typical lead-acid battery is 63V-82V, with a voltage difference of 19V in the middle. Taking 2V lithium-ion batteries as an example, for a 20 series 18650 lithium-ion battery, the operating voltage of a single lithium-ion battery is 2.75-4.2V, and for 20 series it is 55V-84V. In order to protect the safety and lifespan of lithium-ion batteries, the set operating voltage is 58V-83.5V, with a middle voltage difference of 25.5V, which is 6.5V more than the voltage difference of lead-acid batteries, which is 34% more than the working voltage range of lead-acid batteries.

Normally, lead-acid battery packs weigh between 16-30 kilograms and have a larger volume; lithium-ion batteries generally weigh between 2.5-3.0 kilograms and have a relatively small volume, making them easy to ride and transport.
