The design of nickel hydrogen battery chargers and lithium battery chargers is based on voltage in principle, and the charging methods for designs with or without memory effects are also different.

For nickel hydrogen batteries, discharging at 1.1V is not very meaningful because capacity replenishment cannot be obtained during charging. Lithium ion battery chargers are generally produced one-on-one, which means that a single lithium-ion battery is designed with a rated voltage of 3.6V~3.7V and a charging termination voltage of 4.1V~4.2V. The voltage of the lithium-ion battery pack design is not very similar for different series and parallel situations.
