3 Charger selection

When charging the lithium-ion battery UPS power supply, it is best to use the manufacturer's original charger for charging. Because the charging method of the original charger is the most suitable for UPS itself, and the originally configured charger also has a protective design, but other chargers may not be the same.

Therefore, for the safety and service life of UPS and lithium-ion batteries, it is best to use the originally configured charger. If there is a problem with the charger, it is best to purchase a charger of the same model from the manufacturer.

Before the lithium-ion battery UPS power supply is restarted after a long period of inactivity, it should be started without load, and the lithium-ion battery should be recharged with the charging circuit inside the UPS for several hours before running with load.

If the lithium-ion battery UPS is in a floating charge state for a long time without discharging, it is equivalent to being in a storage and replacement state. If this state persists for a long time without charging and discharging it, it is likely to cause lithium-ion batteries to fail and be scrapped due to prolonged storage.
