The charging operation of lithium-ion batteries is divided into two stages. The first stage is constant current power supply charging. When the working voltage of the battery is less than 4.2V, the charger will charge with a constant current power supply. The second stage is the constant current source charging process. When the working voltage of the battery reaches 4.2V, due to the characteristics of lithium-ion batteries, if the working voltage is high, it will be destroyed. The charger will fix the working voltage at 4.2V, and the charging flow will gradually decrease. When the electrical flow rate decreases to a certain value (usually when the current is set to 1/10), the charging power circuit will be blocked, and the charging end display light will be on, indicating that the charging end.
Excessive charging and discharging of lithium-ion batteries can cause permanent damage to the positive and negative stages. Overcharging and discharging cause the collapse of the negative electrode carbon sheet structure, which will result in the appearance of lithium positive ions that cannot pass through during the entire charging process. Overcharging causes too many lithium positive ions to be placed in the carbon structure of the negative electrode, and some of the lithium positive ions are no longer released.

The principle of lithium-ion batteries refers to the basic charging principle of lithium-ion batteries. When the battery is charged, lithium positive ions are formed on the positive side of the battery, and the lithium positive ions move to the negative side according to the electrolyte solution. As a negative level, carbon has many microporous plates, and lithium positive ions that reach the negative level are placed in the microporous plates of the carbon layer. The larger the amount of lithium positive ions inserted, the larger the charging capacity.
