Low current charging repair method: Use the tester's 700 milliampere low current charging (function mode is 0), or select L as the default charging current in function mode 3 for up to 18 hours of charging, or it can be done after water replenishment. This method also has good effects on batteries that have been stored for too long and are severely aged and sulfurized.
15. Use a tester to determine if there is an open circuit inside the battery. When there is an open circuit inside the battery (mostly caused by night leakage causing corrosion at the connection between the battery and the terminal), the relay inside the tester will emit a squeaking sound when discharging the battery with the tester. In this case, the tester must be immediately turned off or the battery disconnected from the tester to avoid damaging the equipment.
16. Use a tester to roughly measure the self discharge and lagging battery of the battery. After the battery is fully charged using the conventional method, it should be left for half a day and then charged again using the tester. Normally, the charging is completed within 1 hour. If the charging time exceeds 1 hour, and the longer the time, the more severe the self discharge of the battery or the battery lags behind.
17. General operation: When using a battery that has been in use for a long time or has significantly decreased capacity, first remove the battery from the battery box, solder the series circuit with an electric soldering iron, and connect it separately to the tester for general charging and discharging. For example, select the tester working mode 3, and continuously use a multimeter to measure the voltage of each battery during the 2-hour rate discharge process (if the tester has a voltage display function, pay attention to observing the voltage drop), Select outdated batteries with insufficient discharge capacity for treatment. First, add 1.050 diluted sulfuric acid until the flowing liquid is just visible (it is very convenient to observe with a flashlight vertically, or flip the battery 90 degrees, with the small hole facing the side, allowing excess electrolyte to overflow, and then flip it back). Select the tester repair function. After each repair, let the battery stand for more than 0.5-4 hours and measure the battery voltage. Repeat the repair function until the capacity is similar or equal. After the repair is completed, drain the flowing electrolyte, dry the surface of the battery, install the raft cap, and use PVC adhesive (available in the PVC adhesive decoration material market) or chloroform (also known as chloroform (available in chemical reagent stores) to bond the battery panel.
