The important difference lies in the assembly process of electrolyte membrane and battery. The manufacturing process of polymer lithium-ion batteries mainly includes polymer positive electrode film, negative electrode film, polymer film and other manufacturing processes.

By hot pressing, the plasticized polymer PVDFHFP is melted and sandwiched between the electrodes to make a battery pack. Put the battery pack in an organic solvent, extract a plasticizer (such as dibutyl phthalate), put the battery pack in an aluminum plastic film box, and inject electrolyte to form gel after decompression or drying. This manufacturing method can ensure good contact between the internal interfaces of the battery, low internal resistance, high capacity, and long cycle life. The most important processes are the pre-treatment of electrode materials and the stirring of electrode paste, the preparation of electrode film and electrode cutting, the assembly of individual batteries, and the formation of batteries. Environmental dehumidification and packaging materials are also important quality assurance conditions.
