On March 22nd local time, TSLA CEO Elon Musk predicted that battery production for electric vehicles will face "challenges" next year, with batteries becoming a "limiting factor" hindering TSLA's development within 2-3 years. Meanwhile, Musk stated that TSLA will expand to other markets and add new models after meeting existing market demand.

At the opening ceremony of TSLA's Berlin factory in Germany, Musk delivered the first batch of 30 Model Y models manufactured by the Berlin factory to users. After two years and a cost of 5 billion euros, the Berlin factory was officially put into operation, further expanding TSLA's global production and alleviating delivery pressure to some extent.

The Berlin Super Factory will mainly focus on electric vehicle production lines, supplemented by battery production, and is expected to produce up to 500000 vehicles annually. According to JPMorgan Chase's forecast, TSLA's Berlin factory will produce approximately 54000 cars in 2022, 280000 cars in 2023, and ultimately reach an annual production of 500000 cars by 2025. With the production of the Berlin factory, TSLA's global total production will reach 2.7 million vehicles.
