Elite cobalt oxide research and development and production technology from all walks of life have crowded the conference hall. Experts at the meeting had a heated discussion on the development of a national standard for lithium cobalt oxide.
At that time, the understanding of lithium cobalt oxide products in the industry was very inconsistent. For example, the indicator of "3.6V platform capacity ratio" for the product was rarely studied by various production companies, and the impact of this indicator on product performance was not recognized; In addition, there is no such concept in the Japanese lithium battery positive electrode material industry, so at the beginning, a considerable number of experts did not agree to include control over this indicator in the standard. However, some experts and companies, including Mengguli Company, insisted that this indicator should be included. Although Japan does not have this concept, Mengguli Company has accumulated a lot of relevant experience and data in the research and production process, which can prove that this indicator is useful for measuring battery materials. After intense debate, experts at the meeting ultimately agreed to use this indicator as a control standard.
As soon as this point was reached, the "vibration density" of the product became another focus of debate. There is no objection to the indicator of "compaction density" for controlling products, but there is significant controversy about the specific standards that should be met for compaction density. Some experts believe that it should be greater than 2.2g/cm3, and even above 2.4g/cm3. However, some production companies may not meet this indicator. In order to make this standard widely applicable, rather than limited to a few companies, it was ultimately determined to set the indicator of product compaction density as "not less than 1.8g/cm3". The seminar, amidst this ideological storm and technological exchange, has led to a consensus of opinions, increased industry awareness of lithium cobalt oxide products, and added the applicability of standards.
