After many audits, Lianhe Copper Foil, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nordisk (600110), finally passed LG Chemical's audit and began to supply in small quantities, which became the first key step for the company to move towards internationalization.

At the beginning of 2018, Lianhe Copper Foil welcomed LG Chemical's first supplier audit, which lasted for 3 days; In August of the same year, the LG audit team conducted the first review of the joint copper foil. After 5 days of comprehensive review, Lianhe Copper Foil passed the review of LG Chemical once and for all: the equipment of the smart factory is superior to the advanced level of the peers, and 5S management is in place. This comprehensive review passed the approval, and then small batches of samples were sent for testing.

Founded in 1992, United Copper Foil is an old base of Nordisk, with an annual production capacity of 8000 tons. So far, United Copper Foil has passed the ISO9001 quality assurance system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, GB/T28001 occupational health and safety management system certification, and TS16949 quality management system certification. The overall technology of its products has reached the domestic and international advanced level.

On September 4, Nordisk revealed in the announcement that the company's Huizhou factory (United Copper Foil) had started to supply LG Chemical in small quantities, and LG Chemical would soon come to Qinghai to inspect the factory; Panasonic factory inspection has been carried out all the time, and Tesla has also inspected the company's factory. The promotion needs to be accelerated, and the factory inspection may be carried out at the end of the year.

Nordisk is a giant of copper foil for lithium batteries in China. At present, 90% of its copper foil products are supplied to power battery customers, accounting for 35% of the domestic market. Just last month, after Qinghai Nord Phase I lithium copper foil was put into production, it is estimated that the company's annual capacity of lithium copper foil will reach 40000 tons/year.

Based on the stability of the domestic market, Nordisk began to enter the international market, and proposed the goal of becoming a "global leader in lithium battery copper foil". This is also the reason why Nordisk has vigorously developed overseas markets this year. Nordisk hopes that the export proportion of copper foil products will gradually increase to 50% in the future.
