To create a self-made 12V battery charger, you first need a circuit diagram of the 12V charger. If there is a diagram, it is easy to make. Following the diagram can provide a clear and convenient way to start making.

Prepare the necessary materials for production. Firstly, one AC transformer with an output of 12V5-15A, one high-power rectifier diode with an output of 6-10A, one 25V2200uf capacitor tube, one low-voltage power control switch, one 220V power plug, and one roll of insulation tape are required. Additionally, one rubber hose with a diameter greater than 0.3cm30-50cm for high-power rectifier diodes (waterproof type, used for cooling rectifier diodes) and one plastic empty bottle (used for cooling rectifier diodes) are also required

Connect the 220V power plug and the input end of the transformer with wires, and wrap the connection head with insulating tape. Because the AC power supply does not have positive or negative poles, the input terminals are casually connected, but the input and output terminals must not be mistaken. It is important to clearly read the input and output declarations on the transformer.

Connect both ends of the rectifier diode with wires of the same length, but the total length should exceed the length of the 30-50cm rubber hose. Then, pass one end through the 30-50cm rubber hose and place the rectifier diode in the middle of the rubber hose.
