Last September, Fujian took the lead in issuing the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in the Province to Promote Industrial Development" nationwide, proposing that by 2020, the province's production of new energy vehicles will reach over 300000, and a new energy lithium battery and motor base with a value of over 100 billion yuan will be built. The entire industrial chain output value will exceed 180 billion yuan, including 60 billion yuan for complete vehicles and 120 billion yuan for components.

Industry insiders have stated that this requires our province to further encourage existing traditional automotive industry supporting companies to transform towards new energy vehicles. At the same time, we will gather leading companies in the province's three electricity supporting facilities, and introduce advanced supporting companies from both domestic and foreign sources to form the provincial new energy vehicle industry alliance. On this basis, we will strengthen the coordination of technical standards and complement the shortcomings of the industrial chain, truly enabling Fujian's new energy vehicles to achieve the development of the entire industrial chain.

The collective proposal of the Provincial 93 Society suggests that we should focus on the advantageous industries in our province and cultivate the entire industrial chain of new energy vehicle and component production and supporting systems. Increase support for key projects, introduce well-known domestic and foreign new energy passenger vehicle production companies, key component supporting companies such as San Dian, and research and development institutions to cooperate in Fujian, and cultivate and strengthen the new energy vehicle industry cluster in our province. Consider establishing a credit fund for the new energy vehicle industry, with national and local subsidy quotas, to alleviate the pressure on the company's advance payment funds through financial subsidies or low interest loans.

In addition, Chen Zhanhong, a representative of the Provincial People's Congress and senior engineer of State Grid Fuzhou Power Supply Company (Cangshan Customer Service Branch), stated that our province should promptly introduce relevant standards and specifications for charging facilities to improve the efficiency of public charging stations.

Chen Zhanhong also suggested that after a period of time, new energy vehicle batteries will face problems of loss and waste. Government departments should consider in advance to prevent waste batteries from polluting the environment and develop comprehensive recycling and treatment methods.
