The charging of lithium-ion batteries is divided into two stages:

Firstly, constant current charging means that the current is constant, and the voltage of lithium-ion batteries gradually increases with the charging process. According to the above specifications, charging is generally carried out at a current of 0.2c (c is the nominal capacity and current of the battery, and 0.2c is 200ma). When the battery voltage approaches the full voltage of 4.2v, constant current charges will change to constant voltage charges. This process takes about five hours.

Constant voltage charging refers to a certain voltage at which the current gradually decreases as the saturation degree of the wire deepens. According to regulations, when the current drops to 0.01C, i.e. 10mA, charging is considered terminated. After adding this process and constant current charging time, the total charging time should not exceed 8 hours.

Therefore, there are two criteria for determining whether the charging of UPS lithium-ion batteries has reached saturation: the current is 0.01C, and the total duration does not exceed 8 hours. In other words, if the lithium-ion battery charging process still cannot reach 0.01C after 8 hours. Will be considered as non-conforming products.
