On the same day, BYD released the latest sales data of new energy vehicles. According to the announcement, BYD's sales of new energy vehicles in July were 50492 units, a year-on-year increase of 174%, compared to 15100 units in the same period last year; This year, the cumulative number of vehicles was 205100, a year-on-year increase of 170.62%. In addition, the total installed capacity of its new energy vehicle power lithium batteries and energy storage batteries in July was approximately 3.001 GWh, and the cumulative installed capacity this year was approximately 15.708 GWh.

The high increase in sales data of BYD's new energy vehicles is inseparable from the "assistance" of blade batteries.

It is understood that the company's first model equipped with blade batteries, the "Han", has seen rapid sales increase since its launch, with sales successfully exceeding 10000 yuan in November last year. In the following months, except for February 2021 (Spring Festival), the sales of other months remained above 10000 vehicles. In early April of this year, the company launched four new models, all equipped with blade batteries.
